First Annual Cricket Big-match of Rahula College OBA UK and St. Aloysius’ College OBA UK
Rahula College and St. Aloysius’ College are cricket big-match partners. Following the path their respective colleges lead, both the colleges’ UK OBAs had organized a cricket big-match for the first time, and they hope to continue it annually.
The match was held in Osterley Cricket Club Grounds in UK on 26th of September.
The game was interrupted by rain from time-to-time.
Rahula College OBA UK scored 119 for 2 wickets in 15 overs and the match was stopped due to rain. Then St. Aloysius’ College OBA UK scored 120 for 3 wickets in 14 overs.
The bad weather affected the match results very much.
Both the college’s OBAs should be thanked for organizing a such event to fasten the bonds of friendship between the two colleges even beyond The Island.
