Battle of Two Cities 2011: Message from The Coach.
I am very leased to issue a message for the souvenir regarding the encounter named “Battle of Two Cities” Rahula College of Matara Vs Aloysius’ College of Galle. I got my primary eduction from Rahula College, Matara and presently working as the cricket coach of Rahula College for the 8th successive year.
It is the responsibility of both teams to promote not only victory but also the disipline, the respect of the school and the game. Further, I would like to pay gratitude to the principals of both colleges, teachers of the staffs, coaches of both teams and the old boys who gave immense effor to create national level players.
Further more, I take this opporunity to extend my sincere thanks to the present Pricnipal Mr. Nimal Dissanayake, Master in charge of Cricker Mr. Indunil Liyanage, all the teachers of The College, Sports Officer Mr. Lal Wijewickrama, Dr. Lal Ekanayaka, members of the Old Boys Association, all the parents of the players, Rahula Cricket Academy, Board of Prefects and all the students of The College.
